Dog Carriers

Where is the safest place for your dog to ride in your car? Well, for sure, it’s not with his face out the window...sorry to be a party pooper but that’s down right dangerous even if it is fun. Probably the safest place is at home, but if he really does like to do errands with you and you’ve thrown in a stop at the dog park, then lets look at your options for keeping him safe in the car.
Dog Carriers
If you own a SUV with a cargo area, then that can be a starting place. With all that space to explore, you won’t know exactly what your dog is up to unless you turn around and look! Over 30,000 auto accidents occur each year because you looked! You can purchase a metal or net barrier to put over the back seat so Fido stays back there. Make sure that barrier is something that will stay in place in case your dog comes hurling at it in a collision....otherwise it’s just for looks. A 60 pound dog becomes a 1200 pound projectile at just 35 miles per hour!
